from the local dairies and a lengthy maturation makes it an exceptional cheese

produced. Parmigiano Reggiano 12 months is a full-flavoured cheese and contains
no preservatives and is naturally lactose free. The absence of lactose is a
natural consequence of the traditional Parmigiano Reggiano manufacturing process
(less than 0.01g / 100g galactose). Aged minimum for 12 Months, 100% Natural
Parmareggio was founded in 1983 in Montecavolo di Quattro Castella to season and
finish the world-famous Parmigiano Reggiano cheese. This cheese is lovingly
crafted in the provinces of Parma, Reggio Emilia, Modena and Mantua using the
same techniques and production methods that were established by the monks who
first created it in the region.
