Folkington's Sicilian lemonade is made simply from Femminello lemons grown in
Sicily.
A splash of history:
Femminello lemons, which are used in this lemonade, can be traced back to Roman
times as evidenced by wall paintings and mosaics found in Pompeii and
Herculaneum (Naples). Historians claim it was the Egyptians, 1000 years later
who first created lemonade by mixing lemon juice with sugary water. And in the
early 19th Century the French made it fizzy. Teamwork, then.
